SEVEN KNIGHTS GUIDE

If you don’t have a date today, or you have nothing to do at all, you might want to check this guide for the game I play in my phone – Seven Knights. Running in Android / iOS. I will skip the story part, but to give you an overview, it is mostly about the journey of the Seven Knights and their companions, to save..mankind/the world(?) I haven’t read much of the story myself. I keep spamming skip whenever there is a cutscene, lol.
This post will not explain every detail of the game but will contain everything in my knowledge that will help newbies play efficiently. Lets get started!

  1. In the beginning, you will be given the “Guide Quest” this will help you to grasp the basic features of the game. I suggest you to follow the guide quest until you finish it. You can finish it in less than 7 days.
    • Note: It took me 8 days to finish the guide quest because I used my resources to rank up a hero to 6* hero once I got the chance. Then 2 days later, I got a quest requiring me to rank up a hero to 6* hero. Wtf? I used all my resources 2 days ago to rank up my hero, and now I have to do it again? The struggle is real. So avoid making the same mistake.
  2. On your 7th day of playing, the game will give you a random 4* Seven Knight.
  3. As you do your guide quest, you will be rewarded with a 5* element selector, which is used to rank up a hero to 6*. It is advisable to pick the element that you Seven Knight / best hero will use.
    • Note: Elements are used to rank up a hero. If you get this reward before the 4th day of play, just get the dark element because majority of the Seven Knights need dark elements. If not, just let it wait in your inbox until you get your first Seven Knight, then pick the element for your Knight.
  4. Find a decent guild early. Having a guild will unlock more game features and will help you progress. Some benefits of having a guild are as follows:
    •  Unlocking “Castle Rush”, a feature where you can earn points to get a Seven Knight and points to buy a element.
    • Unlocking “Guild vs Guild”, also known as GVG. Guild battle. Self explanatory.
    • Guild skills like, increased gold drop, hero exp gain, and etc.
    • Guild Check in its like a daily attendance in school. When your guild get full attendance of 30/30, you will get the maximum reward available(keys and golds)
  5. Formations. The most used formation is the defensive formation where you have 1 hero in the back and 4 heroes in front. The hero in the back will get 100% attack buff when this formation is maxed out.
  6. Masteries first! Masteries, are passive skills that will take effect in every aspect of the game, PvE and PvP. You can unlock these skills in every 5 levels you gain. But when you reach level 15, it will be hard to level up so it is advisable to buy these skills instead. Masteries are located in the lobby, beside your In Game Name(IGN). Once you finish your mastery, then you can use your rubies for buying anything you want.
  7. Where can you get rubies? You can farm them. I’ve played a lot of mobile games and what I want best about 7k is that they allow you to farm the in game cash currency called Ruby. In a lot of games I know, this kind of in game currency is only available in the shop which is purchased by real money.
    • The first time you level up your hero to 30, you will get 5 rubies, then 2 rubies for every time you do it again.
    • You will need 2 heroes who can kill a wave of enemies in 1 skill. With this setup, you can run 2 heroes with skills that can target all enemies, also referred as Area of Effect(AOE) skills and 3 heroes who will be leveled up to 30. Lets say, in 8-10 keys, you can make 3 level 30 heroes. So in 8-10 keys, you can get 6 rubies minimum. Not bad!
    • For beginners, you can use Velika / Yuri combo, some use Hellenia to taunt enemies to avoid them from killing the heroes being leveled up. This is because when a hero dies, it will not get the experience points in the battle.
  8. Castle Rush(CR) a dungeon where you will face a Knight as the boss. The Knight depends on what day is it. Here are some heroes to focus on if you want to get a high score in CR. (Heroes written in bold are required)

      • Shane(backline damage dealer),
      • Rachel(for her debuff -80%damage and defense),

    • Monday: Rudy
      • Shane
      • Rachel
      • Karon/Sieg(for their passive, immunity to stun for 6 turns)
      • Yuri/Joker(for buff removal, because Rudy buffs himself and get 80% damage reduction, so your team will hit like a wet noodle if you forget to remove his buff)

    • Tuesday: Eileene

      • Rachel

      • Lina
      • Eileene
      • Rania(for her passive, immunity to freeze for 6 turns)
  9. Dragon Raid(DR), is pretty much the same with CR, You need Shane for damage, Karon/Sieg for stun immunity, Eileene and Lina to buff Shane’s damage, and Velika/Espada for their passive 50% magic damage reduction. Dragons appear randomly when you fight in adventure mode. When you found a dragon, your friends in game and guildmates can kill the dragon. Rewards will be sent to your inbox when the dragon is slain.
    • You should assemble at least 1 team for dragons because the best items in game are dropped here
    • Maximum of 3 entries per dragon
    • Best reward chest for the best damage dealer
  10. Daily Dungeon, is where you can get elements. Easy Mode gives you 2* element upon completion and Normal Mode gives 3* element. Hard mode is still unlocked at the moment. Different rewards everyday.
    • Sunday: Random item (4* Easy/5*Normal)

    • Thursday: Dark element
    • Friday: Fire element

  11. Arena. also known as PVP mode or, player vs player. This game content will raise your level of competitiveness and will make you want to grind harder for those high level equipment. Here are something to remember about arena:
    • When you reach a higher rank for the first time, you will get Ruby and Topaz
    • Every Monday(Philippines), 12noon, arena refreshes. You will get the reward based on your rank at 2:00PM.
    • When you fail to reach 50% win rate, you will be pushed 1 rank down after the weekly tally.
  12. What are Topaz for? Topaz is a game currency that is used to reforge, re-fuse, remove equipment, or to buy something in the topaz shop. Better save your topaz for future content. But for me, I use my topaz to buy Leah in the topaz shop, costs 75 topaz each. When you feed Leah to a hero, that hero’s equipment slot will be unlocked.
  13. BONUS! Here are the most popular Arena setup as of today.
    • Note: the team with the highest total speed will use a skill first and the hero with the highest speed will do the normal attack first
    • Full Offense Team
      • A team where most heroes’ weapon have +speed attribute
      • Also called YOLO team, because if your opponent manged to survive your attacks, and the fight goes long enough, you will lose because your team wasn’t built for long fights.
      • Usually composed of 1 damage dealer at the back and 4 units with useful buff or debuff passive
      • Example:
        • Rei(back line damage dealer),
        • Ace(-50% def on all enemies passive),
        • Dellons(+25% damage to all allies),
        • Eileene(+60% physical attack to all allies), and
        • Alice(+40% damage taken to all enemies)
      • You can remove Eileene from the team if your back liner is not Physical damage dealer.
      • Note: Hero’s speed depends on its role.
        • Support(Light) hero has 12 base speed
        • Tank(Earth) hero has 14 base speed
        • All around(Dark) hero has 16 base speed
        • Physical(Fire) hero has 26 base speed
        • Magical(Water) hero has 26 base speed
        • There are some heroes that are exception to this rule, like the Seven Knights who has 5 speed higher. (Example: Dellons is fire type, 26+5 = 31 base speed. Highest in the game atm)
    • Defensive Team
      • A team built for long fights
      • Also called Turtle team, because its not too fast but it is sturdy.
      • Usually composed of heroes with damage reduction and healing abilities
      • Example:
        • Velika(back line, 50% magic damage reduction)
        • Rudy(+60% defense to all allies)
        • May(+50% physical damage reduction)
        • Lina(-25% physical attack and defense on all enemies, heal)
        • Lucy(self immune to all debuffs for 4 turns, can remove disables from all allies, has secondary heal, and a +50% block rate passive)

        • When a critical attack was successfully blocked, the damage will be reduced to normal attack damage.
